Kelley’s career started after graduating from Texas Tech University’s Health Sciences Center with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy in 1992. Her passion for the brain started at her first job at an inpatient rehabilitation hospital brain injury unit. She found neurofeedback when looking for ways to improve her own children’s mental health challenges. To this day, Kelley continues to hold licensure and certification in occupational therapy.

Kelley Villegas founded Focus Neuro Rehab, which has been serving the needs of people of all ages since 2009. Focus NeuroRehab began in El Paso, TX and served the east and west side of the city for 10 years. In 2017, Focus NeuroRehab was relocated to Lake Mary, FL (north Orlando area). Focus Neuro Rehab specialized in the treatment of children with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders for the first 10 years, and for the last 7 years has expanded to all ages and dysfunctions from 3-99 years old. Over the last 17 years, Kelley has successfully treated over 1,700 people.

Kelley has led several speaking engagements on the topic of Neurofeedback and its use with children with ADHD/ASD, strokes, and general brain functions in front of audiences of professionals and parents—including a presentation at the Integrative Medicine for Mental Health Conference in 2014.

In addition to her work as a Neurofeedback specialist, Kelley co-authored a book called “Restoring the Brain: Neurofeedback as an Integrative Approach to Health” in 2015. Kelley’s areas of interest in her field of work include:

Notable credentials include receiving over 100 hours of training in Neurofeedback using the Othmer Method since 2008. Other training credentials include ADHD vs. Bipolar Disorder in Children, Pharmaceuticals, Integrative Medicine for Mental Health Conferences, Irlen Screening certification, and Amen Brain Health Professional Certification in 2022.
